I’m always up for a good laugh and I find that animals are often the best source of entertainment. Here are 7 of my favorite funny YouTube videos that I wanted to share. Some of these are always bookmarked on my computer, just in case I need a little pick-me-up during the day. Others have been sent to me by friends and I simply kept them in mind. I hope you enjoy these and share them with others!

This reminded me of moments that I’ve spent fighting with the printer. You know there’s paper in there, but the computer isn’t printing. Or the connection between the printer and the computer isn’t quite right and you can hear that sound that the computer makes when a device is connected and disconnected, over and over again. I thought it was hilarious to see a cat having the same issue.
I like montages, especially when there are cats involved. This video starts off very slow and the music is rather relaxed, then everything goes haywire. The first time I watched it I had tears streaming down my face. There are a couple of moments where you might cringe when watching it, but I think you’ll enjoy it for the most part. It is definitely worth sharing with others. I have it at the top of my list of bookmarked videos.
Vintage videos are the best! The narration that has been added to this footage makes it seem like the reel is an old educational video filmed way back when. In reality, Popper and Serafinowicz made the video by writing a script and then taking the camera out to film the footage. I like the vintage feel to the whole thing. These two characters have a series called Look Around You that pays homage to educational films from the 70s and 80s. They talk about things like germs, sulfur, water, and music, just to name a few. They definitely put an interesting twist on these topics!
Little kids tend to be just as entertaining as kittens and this video combines both! It reminded me of when my oldest son was little. He would tell some of the funniest stories. The little girl in this video is narrating a book on kittens. She gives her take on what the kittens in each picture might be saying. It is too cute. I’ve passed this vid on to many friends who have kids of their own and they seem to enjoy it immensely.
I love it best when animals and comedic adlibs are combined. This video is only one of many episodes in the BBC One comedy series called Walk on the Wild Side. Loads of fantastic natural history footage is included with hilarious voice-overs. I recommend watching the entire series at least once. You’ll never look at animals the same way again, trust me!
I’ve been a huge fan of Star Wars since the movies first came out in the late 70s. My kids have seen the entire series multiple times and the boys have also played every Star Wars video game imaginable. This music video shows Boba Fett at his finest. Who knew he could dance? I’m sure you will be singing the chorus all day after watching this video. For you avid game players, you might recognize the game characters used for the choreography in this video.
The original video which had the two cats featured in this ‘translation’ video was excellent. I didn’t know that it could get any better! Of course, any time animals communicate in human speech there’s bound to be some type of humor involved. The voice-over performed with this video is perfect and even the animal mannerisms are worked in to make it all that much more believable. I’ve passed this video on to just about everyone I know. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it too.
As you can see, most of my favorite videos involve cats or British humor and sometimes both! I hope these 7 of my favorite funny YouTube videos bring a smile to your face. I bet you will end up bookmarking at least one of them or know of a friend who can use a mood booster. What YouTube videos do you seem to enjoy the most? Do you have a wide variety or is there a particular theme you seem to prefer?
